If the actors are too old to be doing this, Stranger Things itself feels fairly energetic and youthful... The formula still largely works after all this time, and in most ways, the new episodes are a substantial improvement over the bloated fourth season.

Stranger Things 5 tries to flesh out some of its players further, it feels like the show is assumes that you still know and love these characters enough that simply seeing their plots wrapped up is enough to make this story satisfying.

Big step down from previous seasons, the acting and dialogue feels abit forced and not as good quality. I still enjoy the characters and the world for the most part and the last 30 minutes of episode 4 where easily the best of the season. Outside of that felt abit tired and repetitive

Makes up (so far) for the miscues in Season 4, which I feel is the weakest season. And the time jump was handled with expertise. It is back to why I liked the show to begin with.
