Karen Fukuhara is immensely charming as Sam and she has clear and compelling chemistry with Hayley Atwell's Lara, even if they never go so far as to turn the clear sapphic subtext into text. Go to Full Review

Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft Season 2 leans into its core elements fantastically, even though they come at the expense of the plot. Go to Full Review

Michael E @ALONE__ 13h It's really nice but I it's not for everyone 🤷 See more DEE C. @DEECOST 15h Can’t believe Season Two already out, it’s just not good. See more Ivan N 2d Lara is supposed to be powerful and in control. Yet, this Lara seems to be much more 'damsel in destress'. That diminishes the character. See more Nathan J. @TribianiRamoray 4d Rating: 6.7/10 A stylish, action-packed bridge between the gritty "Survivor" trilogy and classic Lara Croft, anchored by Hayley Atwell's stellar voice performance. Highlights - Authentic Lore: Orisha masks and Peril Stones feel true to the franchise's roots. - Emotional Arc: Lara builds a trusted team, showing growth from survivor to icon. - Great Voice Cast: Atwell shines as Lara, with solid supporting performances. Criticisms - Villains Hit-or-Miss: Season 1's antagonist feels generic, Season 2's are one-dimensional. - Pacing Issues: Middle of Season 1 drags like a fetch-quest. - Tonal Waver: Shifts uncomfortably between gritty trauma and high-camp action. Verdict A solid, entertaining entry completing Lara's origin story. Recommended for fans of the Survivor trilogy and wanting to see Lara's transformation. See more Steven S. @G0dJester 5d Season two was a vast improvement from season one. Phenomenal action, globe trotting to interesting locations (as anyone who has played the games would expect), and a wonderful assemblage of new fun characters which includes some fantastic new antagonists. Bolstered by a great vo cast, some excellent lines of dialogue, and solid animation. One of my favorite thing in this new Tomb Raider adventure is the extraordinary chemistry between Lara and Sam. Unfortunately because of the small number of episodes and the focus on fast paced action the moments of character development and world building are sparse. Even so I thoroughly enjoyed this season. See more Tr. Justin 5d LC just seems to make everything worse! She gets the plague mask, and other masks, just for that character to be killed and the mask stolen. It's infuriating! If she never retrieved the mask from the ocean, that character would have never died. Same with the twin. LC basically does NOTHING to help the situation. She just shows up, then after a few minutes, the character she arrived to help, just dies. LC is incompetent! The writing sucks and the action is mid. See more Read all reviews
