...the series is (as it always was) an absolute joy, the intimate inside story of the still astounding rise, triumphant reign and bittersweet dissolution of the greatest and most influential musical force of our times. Go to Full Review

This remains the most extensive, and therefore exhaustive, account of the biggest band of all time. It’s strictly for-fans-only, which, when it comes to the Beatles, basically means everyone. Go to Full Review

Does this new Anthology episode feel “totally pointless” as The Guardian declared? I would never go that far. It is, at least, all organized and in one spot. Go to Full Review

Yakking With F 08/30/2024 i have the dvd from 2003 my dad gave it to me my dad saw this beatles anthology in the 1990s on TV See more 07/06/2021 It was called "The Beatles Anthology" it came out on TV at the same time as "The Beatles Anthology" volume 1 and 2 were released in a major way simultaneously as the never before heard single "Free As A Bird". Seems it was lined up for utter failure here in the states :( What I don't remember it including was the coke-fueled sessions of '74's "A Toot and a Snore" in which a bitchy Lennon can barely play while f'ing Stevie Wonder stands by... Anyone who idolizes Lennon I'm; Go Toot and a Snore Google his Imagining Arse! and you'll get an intimate earful of what a c&*t show that all was. See more 11/15/2018 A Great insight into The Beatles Story. With great stories from Paul, George, and Ringo as well as archive input from John. 10/10 See more 11/05/2016 This is something else, words cannot describe... See more james b 03/31/2014 With almost 10 hours of Beatles footage in total it is quite a commitment to watch it all. It is so worth it though. If you are a Beatles fan you need to watch this at least once in your lifetime. I remember this being on ABC as a mini-series back when I was in High School. It was incredible back then, and it still holds up almost 20 years later. It is just amazing!! See more 03/12/2014 simply the best documentary about the Beatles ever produced. lots of great interviews and unseen footage as well as unreleased songs. a must for every fan of the fab 4.
