It could have been overly sentimental, but happily avoids this with a powerhouse performance from Atkinson’s rubbery facial expressions and extraordinary physicality. Go to Full Review

[The action] never escalates into the grand, high-wire, socially subversive physical comedy we expect from Atkinson. Instead, we just get a nauseatingly schmaltzy and nonsensical dose of Christmas cheer helmed by a kind-hearted, capable man. Go to Full Review

With a small child involved, there is no room for the gleeful destruction of Man Vs Bee, only for a few weak gags about nappies and serious amounts of product placement. Go to Full Review

…Rowan Atkinson is a beloved comic who probably doesn’t need to bother proving himself anymore, but if you enjoy the physical routines he’s made his own unique preserve, it’s hard to fault Man vs Baby, an ideal vehicle for his undoubted talents… Go to Full Review

Too many opportunities for a bad outcome including a baby crawl to the balcony’s edge … Atkinson’s face is a goldmine of expression and hilarity but my nerves were shattered! Go to Full Review

In diving into his latest Netflix holiday series, Man Vs Baby, Atkinson’s usual comedic beats are present throughout, making many of the gags predictable over the series’ four-episode run. Go to Full Review

Alex J @Iunamoon 1d This is the only movie ive ever left a review for it was Genuinely the worst thing ive ever watched the entire thing is 1 massive ad and there is no comedy whatsoever they re do the same joke over and over again and like the baby got lost like 8 times ?!? Also there's 0 character or plot development feels like watching the same awful episode over and over again the most laughs I got was from reading the bad reviews and seeing other people suffering the same as me.Also some episodes the baby just isn't in at all like he just leaves a baby un attended for entire days also the baby is awful ai and looks pasted ontop of backgrounds. How is this the same guy that played black adder??! See more Madison S @Mahdesunn 1d Man vs Baby on Netflix feels less like a comedy and more like an endurance test built on repetitive stupidity. The entire premise relies on the same gag being stretched, recycled, and beaten into the ground with almost no variation: things go wrong, Atkinson’s character overreacts, chaos ensues. Over and over again. Instead of clever escalation or inventive humor, the show leans heavily on exaggerated physical mishaps that quickly lose any comedic value they might have had in the first place. The jokes feel lazy, the pacing is grating, and the situations are so overdone that they become frustrating rather than funny. Rather than laughing, you’re left watching someone make the same bad decisions repeatedly, which turns irritation into the dominant emotion. Instead of being charming or lighthearted, the show is oddly stress-inducing. It raises your blood pressure more than it lifts your mood, relying on shrill chaos and forced slapstick instead of genuine wit. See more Mary Anne S @Bookmas 1d We watched this in one go with our 13 year old granddaughter who loves Christmas shows. We were all laughing out loud! It's predictable in parts but it was fun to anticipate what might happen and then be right. Atkinson's face is so expressive it was perfect. See more sdfsdfbds c 1d Heart-warming and funny. I really enjoyed watching this. See more Sharon G @Poobrains 2d Utter sh*te! Never in my ife have I watched something so UTTERLY ridiculous See more Bernardo C @Bernardo2016 4d Pode ser legal de alguns pontos, mas é um pouco legal, chato e um pouco irritante (provavelmente pode ser mais do que homem vs. Abelha, deste mesmo cara, que é mais legal) See more Read all reviews
