In the year 2000, America is a totalitarian regime on the brink of collapse. The most popular sport in this dystopia is the Transcontinental Road Race, where teams earn points for logging the fastest time and for mowing over the most innocent pedestrians in the process. This year's competitors include Frankenstein (David Carradine), who is rumored to be more machine than man, and the tough-as-nails "Machine Gun" Joe Viterbo (Sylvester Stallone). Some have a plan to stop the race.

i liked this fil it was the perfect blend of mess. It might seem unorganized but i think thats the best way the plot was executed. would not reccomend but im sure if someone stubmbled upon it on accident they wouldnt hate it

Death race was a little to silly for me, a cult film that does't take itself serious enough. The movie is over the top when it comes to the car crashes and violence. Even though its looks to be a cheap film the chaos made me curious on what the next scene was going to obtain. Whether it would be worse or better.

This movie was somewhat interesting to watch. It had a weird story line that kind of went all over the place. The world building wasn't really there, it just sort of displayed a world were killing was more acceptable while society functioned normally. But, the chaotic sequences did make it more fun to watch. I would rewatch it only to show a friend, but besides that, I think it's a film to watch when you're bored.
