Halloween Lantern

Halloween lantern could be used for decoration inside or outside the house. You can easily transform an empty glass jar into a nice Halloween decorative lantern.

Step 1: Empty, wash, dry, and then tape the top with a sticky tape.

 Step 2: Take Construction paper, measure it to fit inside the jar, draw some Halloween motif, or trace from some stencils.

Step 3: Cut that motif using scissors, exacto knife, or just pres hard with pencil until the line breaches.

Step 4: Fold the paper and fit it into the jar.

 Step 5: Put plastic, battery operated tea lights inside the jar. Now, you can leave the jar open. Or you can put the lid back on, especially if your Halloween lantern goes outside in the rain.

During the night of Halloween these lanterns can nicely light up the path to the candy.

Making Halloween lantern is an easy project to do with children. Be careful, do NOT put regular tea light inside, since the construction paper can easily be lighted on fire by regular tea light candles.
