Valentine’s Day Decoration

This Valentine’s day decoration is easy to make and could be fun to make with kids.

To make this heart shaped decoration you need:

• One paper plate
• Scissors or exacto knife
• Heart template (Optional)
• Some markers, pencils or crayons (Optional)

First, draw heart in the center of the paper plate, either freehand or using previously made template.

Now fold the paper plate in half, but do not press hard.

Then cut heart shape using scissors or exacto knife.  Be careful at the bottom, do not cut all the way, because heart has to be attached to the plate.Then cut the frame (space between heart and paper plate frame).

Here is your Valentine’s day decoration that could be also hung if string is attached using scotch tape or stapler.

You can color it, or use colored paper plate; you can even write on it. There are many ways to make it an interesting Valentine’s decoration.
