In "The Family Plan 2," it's the holiday season and Dan (Mark Wahlberg) has planned the perfect vacation for his wife Jessica (Michelle Monaghan) and their kids to celebrate overseas -- until a mysterious figure from his past (Kit Harington) shows up with unfinished business. An international game of cat-and-mouse ensues as Dan and his family battle, bicker and bond their way through a series of bank heists, holiday hijinks and car chases amid scenic European terrain.

The setpieces are sloppy and unexciting to the extreme, and most of them, like a low-energy fight aboard a double-decker bus, are shapeless to the point that they simply end instead of building to a climactic beat.

Had to stop watching when the mom was saying how an amazing job she could get will upset the family. Ugh read the room. It is 2025 and women's rights are in peril, we don't need the media downgrading women's ambition and desire to work outside the home. It is not 1950 and no one wants to see this drivel. Wake up Hollywood. I hope someone important reads this.

Como secuela mantiene el espíritu de la original, por no decir que es mas o menos lo mismo pero diferente. Mismos aciertos (los personajes - de los padres especialmente - , el humor, alguna buena persecución, las peleas y la accion) y los mismos errores (principio lento y algunas escenas que parecen mas muestras de guía de turismo que otra cosa), disfrutable pero en general siento que la primera estuvo mejor.

THE FAMILY PLAN 2 is much, much worse than it should be. The first film is an enjoyable family-centered action-comedy. This second film is somehow neither action nor comedy, but a tired and uninspired thriller retread dominated by Wahlberg doing his best-ever disgruntled dad impression. What a tremendous waste of a proven cast, great locations, resources, and viewers' time.
