Oh. What. Fun. (2025) A Christmas movie that offers charisma, comedy, and fun characters. This story also captures a bit of the nostalgia of other films in the genre, I found it simple and comfortable to watch.

I don't usually watch movies with an average critics / audience score in the 30s, but we were up for a family Christmas movie. Interestingly, this movie is certainly not the worst recent Christmas movie you could watch, and I was surprised to find it was actually watchable. It has a solid cast, a 'no brains required' storyline and it moves along at a reasonable rate. Certainly worth giving this one a chance during the Festive Season.

So the movie was incoherent. But I liked it because it actually looked like a movie. The lighting, the house etc. It reminded me of movies before they all were lit like YouTube videos/soap operas. Visually it's in the vein of The Family Stone. I'll put it on again just for the atmosphere. (Jason Schwartzman is always delightful to see, and the guy who played the brother was funny.)
