Nourishing Almond Skin Balm

For dry and irritated skin you can use this Nourishing almond skin balm to make it feel nice and comfortable again. Especially during the winter months, with dry air in heated rooms, our skin gets easily dry, achy and uncomfortably tight. To help feel younger and more comfortable in your own skin, try this balm. It is easy to prepare and to apply. All of ingredients comes from your kitchen, and there are  no preservatives or artificial components whose names you can hardly pronounce.

To prepare this Nourishing almond skin balm you need only:

Nourishing Almond Skin Balm

  1. 1 tablespoon of almond oil
  2. 1 egg yolk
  3. 1 tablespoon of honey

Separate an egg yolk from the egg white, put into some small bowl, add honey and almond oil. Whisk it all, until it gets creamy  texture.

To prepare your skin, like for any other mask, you should wash your face and neck  thoroughly. If you have a few more minutes, use also some scrub (you can check our recipe for homemade scrub).

Apply Nourishing almond skin balm to the clean skin of your face and neck  using a brush, or cotton ball. Let it stay for 30 minutes and wash with lukewarm water or lukewarm chamomile tea. After that put on your regular facial cream.

Nourishing almond skin balm will have a beneficial effect and will nourish your skin. This homemade remedy helps your skin feel healthy and glow during winter months, but the truth is – you can use it any time of the year to nourish your skin.
