For this Meringue torte you have to make three layers of meringue. Each one is made from:
- 4 eggs at room temperature
- Pinch of salt
- 250 g of white sugar
- 1 tablespoon of white vinegar
- Tin square baking pan
Grease baking pan liberally with butter, dust with flour and put aside. Turn your oven to 450 F and let it preheat. (Preheat the oven to temperature of 450 F)
To make Meringue torte layer, put 4 egg whites into a mixing bowl, add a pinch of salt and beat on highest setting of your mixer. When foam is formed, slowly add sugar and tablespoon of vinegar. Continue beating until meringue is firm.
Put meringue into greased baking pan, put it in the own, and immediately set the oven temperature to 225 F and let it bake for an hour and half to two hours , depending on your oven, and how dry you want your Meringue torte to be.
Repeat whole procedure two more times to make two additional meringue layers for the cake.
